Energy Efficiency Programs from your Utility provider
Midwest Building Performance participates in several utility energy efficiency programs and can help you save money on your energy efficiency upgrades. Programs include:
The Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program:
Homes. If your heating system (such as a furnace or boiler) is fueled by Ameren Illinois, there may be discounts available for energy efficiency upgrades. This program has offerings for both income-eligible homeowners as well as for those who fall outside of the income thresholds. We work you to help determine if your home qualifies for discounts on upgrades to insulation of attics and walls, new thermostats, as well as heating and cooling systems.
Apartments. The multi-family program has an assortment of offerings to landlords inlcuding attic insulation, mini-split heat pumps, thermostats, and lighting. We can assist you in getting started on the process of determining eligibility.
Commercial buildings. There are a wide variety of energy efficiency upgrades that may be eligible for discounts such as heating systems, cooling systems, water heating, lighting, variable frequency drives, and more!
The Ameren Illinois & Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency Program is offered to income-eligible homes in the Bloomington-Normal community and surrounding areas. Participants must have electricity provided by Ameren Illinois and natural gas provided by Nicor Gas. Call us for details on how to determine if you are eligible!
The Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency Program also has incentives for energy efficiency upgrades on homes, apartments, and commercial buildings.
